HS mugshots + Doujin
I would organize my tags, but I don't really think that anyone looks through them anyway.
So, I've been planning on revamping character profiles on my web comic site, since the ones up are rather outdated and I'll have to add some new ones pretty soon.
With that in mind, I drew a few new mugshots, and was pretty amazed by how different everyone looks.
Here are the mugshots (I decided to make them all face the same way this time):

Looking at them right next to the current mugshots, they really do look different. For one thing, everyone looks older. And... Yeah. They look older. :/
Maybe it's because I finally got away from drawing kawaii moe moe characters with huge eyes. Although honestly I wasn't really trying to draw moe moe kawaii characters with huge eyes in the beginning anyway.
Josh seems to look friendlier, but this was generally a conscious decision to make him stop looking like a jackass who'd punch your face in if you talked to him at the wrong moment. (oops)
He's finally starting to look more consistent, and wow, it's only taken me five chapters to learn how to draw him. *grumble grumble*
Charles looks reeeally different. I think he's changed the most.
Really though, there was a reason why he never has a consistent hairstyle. Mostly it had to do with the fact that every time he shows up, I forget what he looked like so I had to make something up again.
Letsee... He doesn't show up in chapter 2, and I thought that his hair was too girly in chapter 3 so I gave him a haircut at the end of it. He didn't show up at all in chapter 4, so by the time chapter 5 rolled along, I've completely forgotten what he looks like and had to make something up. Yeah, that about sums it up.
Jay hasn't shown up in a while either, but he's relatively easy to draw since he has distinctive features compared to everyone else.
I think he got the short end of the stick (his mugshot is the sloppiest) because I drew him last, so by the time I got to him I was pretty tired. >__> Oh well.
That's about it for the mugshots.
On a completely different note, my doujins finally arrived!!
I'm so sorry to everyone who pre-ordered. I was rather frustrated too, because mostly I was sitting around waiting for the printers to get their act together.
Here they are, in their full glory!!
They're a little... they're a little... Uhm.
Yeah.
Okay.
For everyone who's pre-ordered, I've included two random postcards in the envelope. I chose them completely by random, although I made sure that no one got two of the same (I think I made sure), and I'll mail them out later today, hopefully.
Thanks for being so patient with me!!
And since I'm posting photos of my room anyway, here's a photo of my desk, aka, what I look at every. Single. Day.
Anyway, if you've forgotten, the doujin is this one:
24 pages, b+w interior, coloured covers.
Story is summery. It has summer, and flowers, and carnivals. Honestly, that about sums it up, please don't ask me what it's about. ;___;
