Having a bit of trouble with my business card and self-promo package. I wanted to redo it with a military theme, but I wouldn't have time, not for marks at least. I'm hoping that when I do my portfolio site, it doesn't need to be consistent with the rest of my promotional package because redoing a site would take a lot longer.

Anyway, I ran down to Golden Ages yesterday with heart_mint and snowpanda_zero to see if they'd pick up the HS books. The owner didn't exactly seem very interested on the phone, so I didn't go in with very high hopes. Fortunately, he liked the book enough to pick up 3 copies, so it's now available there! Yay! The rest of the staff was super nice though, we kind of stood there for a really long time talking to them.

In any case, I came home a bit later to draw Jojo fanart with absolutely no reference. For any of it. So please excuse any mistakes on both parts.

Also, please remember that this is basically me, and me alone (except for the few times I forced my friends to sit and help me stuff envelopes) who's labelling, wrapping, sealing all the envelopes before taking them all down to the post office, one pile at a time to mail them. I can't do it all at once or else I'll end up losing thema all, so I'm slowly going through the list. This is to make sure I don't miss anyone.

Once again, please be patient with the shipping, I'm really sorry that it's taking so long, but one person can only do so much at once.

We're now taking pre-orders for the (schumie said I have to pitch this well, so I'm gonna pitch it like I would a baseball in the heat of summer) AMAZING, WONDERFUL, FANTASTIC, FABULOUS HONEYSYN VOL 1 TRADE PAPERBACK.



It is FAH-bulous!
It will also be around 130 pages ( a few more, it'll probably end with around 140 pages), of b w interior and coloured cover.
The cost of the FAH-bulous thing is 13.99 CAD plus shipping ($6.40 CAD no matter where you are). For everyone who's asking, this translates to around $20.00 USD, not including paypal's exchange fees.

And, (I forgot to say this last time so I better say it this time) it will also have extras. Lots of them. Like... extra comics, extra information on the main characters and side characters, and little tiddlybits of stuff you probably never knew you wanted to know until you already know it.

CAD and USD are about at par right now, and the book costs around $20.00 total, not including paypal exchange rates.

Well, I wandered into class around noon and finish my magazine cover, and now I should be working on more detailed thumbnails for my diagram I have to hand in on Tuesday. <__>

I wanted to get some HS pics printed as 11 x 17 posters (I have a few of them) but no matter what I just couldn't bring myself to walk into the store and go "CAN YOU PRINT ME PICS OF THESE TWO ANIMU GUYS KISSING."
Seriously. I just can't. x___x It's... man, I really need to work on my fragile and shivering confidence, because I have none. I guess I could get a friend to do it for me, but my friends are busy enough that they don't have time to be poking around picking up prints for me.

In any case, more doodles cause no one cares about my life.

I've been working on a website for my class's fund raising project all day.
I hadn't wanted to volunteered. In fact, I had actively NOT volunteered, because I knew it would be a frustrating, hair-yanking experience, just like every other time I have to build a web site.

Anyway, the rollover menu bar just refused to work, completely, and I had no idea why and had to sit around until 3:30 when the web design teacher was available to ask him. It turns out I had one more forward slash than necessary. And the kicker is, if I had uploaded the site, it would've worked!

But I digress. No one cares about how much I hate coding, so I'll move on to a topic everyone is interested in: strip poker.
