For some reason, I seem to have this really strange fixation on mafia AU's. It's a bit like how other people may like vampires, except I've never really been fond of vampires in general.

Anyway, so I was thinking that no venture into any fandom is really complete (for me) without having a mafia AU of some sort. Jojo doesn't count because it already has its own mafia!U.
So, Merlin. And Arthur. And also Edwin. Hey, I don't know, it's possible!

Manga Studio is pretty fun to use. It's a bit fustrating to figure out though, since there's no help menu and no manual. The forum's generally helpful though, so I guess that's okay.

My sketchbook ran out a few days ago, and I've yet to get a new one. It's just a task I haven't gotten around to, and am now forced to draw in a half-sized book with inferior paper. I am sometimes charmed by small little books, so every so often I'd find myself with a small sketchbook in my hand a few dollars poorer. However, I don't actually like to draw in a small book. I think part of the reason is that I don't like to rest my wrist on the edge of the paper, and when the book is small, the edges are just that much closer.

But I digress...

Me and cloverx have been working on a one-shot for the rumored December release of Rush. I'm not so sure if it's actually coming out or not, but that is what I hear.

As we're not sure if it's coming out in the beginning or end of December, we decided to not take our chances and finish the story as quickly as possible. Which meant that I had to pencil 32 pages in around 5 days or so. I'm inking it now.

If you want any more information... it IS mafia AU. The same one we've been piddling around with for months now. It DOES include the bits I've been putting on my LJ, plus stuff I drew specially for it. Overall it expands on everything a little more and wraps it up.

ETA: I kinda forgot to mention that the original stories were drawn as contest entries to the Apollo/Klavier comm. Then it just kinda got out of control and I ended up with... well... what I have here I guess.

I was filling out a kink over at the PW kink meme, and the kink was Klaver/Apollo, kicking ass and taking names.
As in, cheesy yet epic fight scenes. fighting back-to-back.

Yeah, I love those, so I decided to take it on, even though I've never drawn a full action-scene before.
And I finally used my trusty MODESKIN KNOCKOFF (tm) book, so what the hey.

Warning: Romance (or bromance?), cheesy fight scenes, meaningful look exchanges, breaching laws of physics (physics police please don't arrest me), general OOC-ness, refusal to use rulers.
