I haven't done any homework all weekend. Go me.
I decided to be a complete procrastinator for the last two weeks. I'll just take things as they come.
Anyway, my class has this sort of sketchbook thing going on that we're selling to raise money for our class, and I'm putting 3 sketches in. I was going to put my previous Godspeed sketch in, but when I looked at it again I thought it didn't feel up to par, so I re-sketched him.

I liked the pose of him pulling his sword out, so I kept that. And there he is without his mask.
Anyway, I guess I'll give drawing the cover a shot, if I'm not too lazy in the near future.
The sketchbook won't only have my stuff in, it'll have lots of awesome stuff from my classmates (they're really awesome). I'm not sure how many pages it'll be but I think they're gonna sell for $10.00 CAD each. Give me a hollah if you're interested. 8D
So, I think I sketch a lot better on paper, as opposed to on computer. It just feels more natural, and I'm also not staring at a screen.
It's better to ink with tablet though. I actually like inking on paper more, but with the tablet I don't have to clean the scans, which I hate doing.
I sketched this pic of young!Jade on paper and inked it in photoshop. To practice inking and toning and all the good stuff.

After I was done I was struck by how much he looked like Howl. >__>
So a few days ago, the goggles I ordered arrived! Jubilations!
My parents have gotten completely used to seeing shit from "Army Surplus" show up at my house. I don't think anything can shock them after the gas mask.

They're pretty sweet, they come in a tin and has a ribbon to tie the back. They're great!
...These are my third pair of goggles, but hey, you can never have enough goggles!
