Dawn of the New World fanarts

Was watching my sis play Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World for the past few days. I guess that means I have to draw fanart...

It more or less showed that it was a budget game. They reused the dungeons, and the old characters didn't get redesigned, and they even used their old skit expressions. But still, it was done by team symphonia, and the story really shows it.
I didn't have very high expectations for the story, because the last time Tales came out with a direct sequel, it was Tales of Destiny 2 (not Eternia), and that one was just... Let's just say I have never wanted to throttle rpg protagonist so much in my life. It was amazing, really.
Despite the obvious recycling though, I thought Dawn of the New World had pretty likable characters and a pretty good story, although it felt a bit to me like it took too long to pick up in the beginning and had to rush to be finished at the end. Namco did an awfully good job with the localization though. The voices were top-notch, and even the skits were voiced, which made them a lot more enjoyable.
The only thing I have to say about them, and I'm not sure if this is a problem with localization, is that the characters tend to take 1 to 2 second pauses between talking, and it dragged the scenes out to an almost unbearably slow pace. As well, in the beginning, they kept throwing flashbacks at you as if you were suffering from short-term memory.
Anyway, enough ranting.

I rather like Emil, although I can't say much for his character design. I actually wasn't too fond of all the new character designs. Richter was okay, Marta was okay, if impractical. I downright disliked Emil's clothing.
A bit of a shame too, I thought Aster's clothes were really cute. How disappointing that it's not an optional costume.
So I thought of how it can be improved, and I decided that it wasn't salvageable and that the best thing to do is for him to just take it all off.

My favorite character is Tenebrae. He reminds me a little of Jade, although he's overall much more friendly. And so cute!
I was looking at Japanese fanart sites, and a few showed Tenebrae in his human form, which led me to expect that Tenebrae may eventually show up in a human form. What a let down.

A sketch of Richter that I meant to colour for a while now. I may still do it... or maybe not.
That about sums it up. Emil is gay for Richter. Richter is gay for Aster.
