I rarely blog about my daily life, do I...
My life is pretty boring, so I don't really feel like there's a point. Well, here goes.

My sis finally got a working copy of TotA (Tales of the Abyss), and finally beat the game, after letting it sit for a couple of months.
The ending KILLED me! I swear I went sniffly.

Anyway, after that, she tried to beat Nebilim, failed miserably, and decided that the best way to beat an unbeatable boss is to make me play one of the characters. I tried to play Luke (she usually plays Guy), but then we couldn't deal enough damage and the mages kept dying, so in the end I had to play Jade.

....Not very fun. On the bright side, I have almost all his incantations for his high level artes memorized.
(Oh darkened stormcloud, loose thy blade and run mine enemies through!)

We tried to keep all the characters alive, but eventually we realized that it's a helluva lot easier to just let the stupid A.I. get itself killed, then concentrate on dodging the spells and using items to heal. We beat Nebilim, easy.

But guess what? My sis couldn't STEAL the capacity core.
So we had to fight it again. She still didn't steal the capacity core.

...We had to fight it again.

And it wasn't HARD or anything, just time consuming. Oh, I also have all the incantations for Nebilim memorized.

And Meteor Storm sucks. I didn't even try to dodge it, I just stood there and it CAN'T HIT JACK.

So, I guess what I was getting at through all that was that I drew two TotA fanarts, updated in the Tales section of the Gallery.
Wow, that was roundabout, wasn't it?

On another note, the comiccon was today, and I dragged myself out of bed to head there once more...

The hall was freaking boiling! Me and my sis dug through the trades bins: this time around there were a lot more trades and we generally only buy trades. As opposed to issues.
Anyway, I got "Robin: Days of Fire and Madness" (I generally buy anything that has Robin on it) and "Fell, Vol 1: Feral City".
I've actually never heard of it, but flipping through it, the atmosphere and artwork drew me too much not to get it. Only when I got home did I notice it's written by Warren Ellis.

Double win!

As well, Camilla d'Errico happened to be there, but I didn't try to strike up a conversation with her.
She's just one of those... Hm... I don't know.
My first impression of her I got was from the Avril Lavigne Manga, and the only thing I can really say about that was that I wasn't impressed in the least. But when I saw her paintings, they're... really pretty good.
But all her comics and mangas, they have this... unpolished feel to them, and seriously not in a good way. I think she needs to spend more time straightening up proportions and such in her comics.

Aaanyway, that was my day.
